It’s A Girl (Chai the Puggle)!

November 30, 2008

It’s official.  Even though we at times, dreaded the hard work of puppy training… we decided to get another puggle!  It was very unexpected but we’re glad we found Chai.  She is so precious.  This ought to make blogging pretty interesting now that we have two.  Enjoy!

Jersey’s take on Chai being on his bed.  Actually, he was just tired in this shot.  He was excited when she came home.  She’s just not terribly in love with him just yet.

So, for those of you with two dogs at home… this questions is for you.

“What are some tips you can give us about socializing Chai with Jersey?”

Right now, the interchange goes something like this… Jersey sniffs Chai until know end (as expected)…but Chai barks and snaps at Jersey with her baby fangs (picture what baby piranha teeth must feel like).  Thanks in advance for the tips!

A big welcome to Chai! She is so adorable! My mommy doesn’t have any advice or tips for you because she only has me, but she thinks that since puggles are exceptionally friendly and playful in nature, that in a short time, they will be friends. I can’t wait to read about the adventures of Jersey AND Chai!

Hi Chai, nice meeting you! Congrats on finding a wonderful home. Jersey will be a great brother to look up to.

Your Chai looks just like my Jersey!

  4. Congratulations on getting a sister! I know this is old news now, but before Patches came home, my mama rubbed a towel all over me and brought it to his original home to he could sniff me without incident. She did the same with him for me – so when we finally did meet, it was like we already knew each other! We also met on neutral ground so there would be no aggression.
