Now and Then

Inspired by Turtle the Puggle, we went searching for some old puppy photos of our own.  Sadly we lost most of our photos to a computer virus (long story).  However we did find these. These are actually the very first photos we received from the breeder back in August of 2007!  Back then, we looked through about 8 sets of Jersey’s litter but when we saw this face – we knew he was the puppy for us.

He’s about 5 weeks old here.

We also found this old email from the breeder! In it she describes Jersey’s ( aka AR ) temperament to the T! They give their puppies initials so the owners can be the first to name their little ones.

Hi! This is AR. He is a gorgeous puggle! He is very smart and loving!! He … can be sent home to you on Sept 1st. I will send more.

I’m Baaack!

Due to reasons beyond his control… Jersey has been away from blogging for a few months.  But… we have him back on-line and better than ever.  He’s 16 months old and weighs about 27 lbs now.

And here’s a little update – after the first surgery didn’t work… we just decided to just leave his cherry eye alone for now, without incident!
